Clean Energy Science and Technology

The 2026 Advanced Energy Materials and Energy Storage Technology Innovation and Development Forum and the Frontier Forum on Clean Energy Technology was held in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, from August 7 to 9, 2026. Jointly organized by Beijing University of Chemical Technology and the journal Clean Energy Science and Technology, the conference, themed "Pooling Wisdom to Empower a New-Quality Future," aimed to promote green development, advancing interdisciplinary innovation, and strengthening academic and technological collaboration.

Addressing academic frontiers and technical bottlenecks, the forum fostered the integration of theoretical advances with engineering practice. It served as an integrated platform for academic discussion, research showcases, institutional collaboration, and technology transfer to accelerate innovation and development in the new energy sector. Discussions spanned eight core thematic areas: technologies for the efficient utilization of clean energy, advanced energy storage technologies and equipment, energy storage safety and thermal management, high-energy-density lithium-ion battery materials, core technologies for solid-state batteries, sodium-ion battery mechanisms and technologies, and novel high-energy-density battery technologies, integrated wind-solar-storage technologies, as well as low-carbon energy conversion and emission reduction technologies.

The conference featured a comprehensive program of plenary sessions, invited lectures, breakout sessions, and exhibitions highlighting cutting-edge achievements. Over 100 experts, scholars, and key technical professionals from Chinese universities, research institutes, and industry enterprises attended the event. The forum also presented awards honoring Outstanding Organizers and Young Research Pioneers.

 Academic Exchange in Progress

The journal Clean Energy Science and Technology remains dedicated to offering a high-quality publishing and dissemination platform for experts and scholars in the global clean energy sector. Moving forward, the journal will continue hosting and participating in international academic conferences and forums to foster in-person academic exchange and further advance the discipline worldwide.
